(Acting for Cinema & Television)             Ottawa’s only in-front-of-the-camera acting school that operates year round.             Our mission is to help nurture and grow the pool of actors in Ottawa by providing             training for participants at all levels of talent and experience, and by exposing             participants to decision makers in the Ottawa and Montreal production communities.             Not only are we a training school, but our Audition Listings are a powerful resource for             actors and producers alike.             Whether you’re brand new to the industry or just wanting to brush-up on your             technique and meet some great people, you’ve come to the right place.             All A.C.T. courses are designed and run by professionals currently working in the Film             and Television industry.             Meet A.C.T. President, Claudia Jurt.             A.C.T. was founded in August 2001 by Peter Dillon & Claudia Jurt.             After more than two successful years, A.C.T. co-founder, Peter Dillon             decided to move on.  After giving it much thought, Pete decided to             refocus his priorities and pursue some exciting new opportunities.                          Pete would like to thank all the participants who he taught and thank them for teaching             him so much.  Pete will go on running BigTime Murder Productions, and will             continue being part of Ottawa's screen acting scene.                        Claudia Jurt now assumes full ownership of A.C.T. and will continue to maintain it's               excellent reputation.  Peter was a great partner and instructor - A.C.T. looks             forward to having him teach again in the future                                             .    Next Session: Spring 2008 LOCATION: Arts Court, 2 Daly Ave., Ottawa A.C.T. is an independent training organization and is not partial to any one talent agency or production company.
