Story synopsis: Joseph Kay is in control. In his cubicle, he
reigns supreme. On the phones, he decides where the conversation
goes, and he knows you'll follow. He takes pride in who he is
and what he does. Joseph B66 is the story of how Joseph Kay
starts to lose his handle on his regimented life after he gets
himself on the other end of the phone...
Roles wanted to fill: Joseph Kay - Lead
Joseph Kay is a man in his late twenties who has found comfort
in his job as a telephone survey agent. He's the kind of person
who abhors disorder, uncertainty and all things unfamiliar. His
is more or less socially inept, unless he's wearing a
headset and chatting with survey respondents miles away.
Physically, Joseph is 5'9" to 5'10", small in build, and has
brown hair which he wears cropped and combed to the side. He
wears glasses and a digital watch, and finds it difficult to
look people in the eye.
Sam - Team Leader
Young and confident, Sam is in the process of earning her
masters degree in statistics. She's straightforward with her
employees, and even takes an interest in their individual lives.
If her workers and performing well, she makes it her mission to
find out why, and to help bring their survey scores back up to
par. Many people find her confidence intimidating. Especially
Joseph Kay.
Sam is 5'9" to 5'10", medium length brown hair, and caries
herself in a way that is both attractive and approachable. She
dresses with style, and takes her job seriously.
Other comments: Parktown's most recent accolade is taking grand
prize in Calvin Klein's
short film contest for their submission '2@2'. Other works
include all of Live 88.5's
televised commercials, and are set to release their first
feature "Donkey
with Fluke Films in 2008.
Sandbox's Mark Zanin film "Sunday Morning"; had its world
premiere at Fantasia
Film Festival, and took home the award for best cinematography
at Youngcuts 2007.
