BREATHING IN TRIPLE TIME
Breathing Time Productions graces the stage with an electrifying
soirée of three one-act plays.
November 7, 2007–
Fresh off its sold-out run of Neil LaBute’s Fat Pig,
Breathing Time Productions returns with eMOTIONal – a trilogy of
tempting, titillating and troublesome one act plays, which will
premiere on November 14th, 2007 at the Arts Court
Library.
The triple bill, directed by
Claudia Jurt, includes Women in Motion by Donald
Margulies, Specter by Don
Nigro, and Bench Seat by Neil LaBute. In Women in
Motion, Natasha Jetté (S’il faut mentir, mentons) and
Claudia Jurt (Fat Pig) play two New York office workers
who head to the Caribbean for some midwinter sun and sex.
Following them are Tommie-Amber Pirie and Miles Finlayson who
make their stage debut in Specter; a tale of the depths
of intimacy that one can achieve with a stranger; a suspecting
professor picks up a young girl on a highway in the middle of a
rainstorm. Finally, just when you thought things couldn’t get
any wackier, local actor Meghanne Kessels (The Last Disciple
of Abraham, Last Game) shows her boyfriend, portrayed by
Alan Jeans (The Seagull, The Tempest), just what would
happen if he dumped her in Neil LaBute’s hilarious Bench Seat.
Founded
by local actor and entrepreneur, Claudia Jurt, owner of A.C.T.
and Ottawa Casting, in early 2007, Breathing Time Productions is
dedicated to rejuvenating today's audiences by presenting
challenging and thought-provoking works by both new and
established artists, on stage and screen.
Breathing Time Productions

Library, 2 Daly Avenue, across from the Novotel. All shows
begin at 8pm with the exception of a 2pm matinee on the 18th.
