Parent and Kids Show is
hiring an MC!
Saturday, March 28 from 3pm to approx. 4:30 pm…it could go to
4:40pm
Sunday, March 29 from 2:45 pm to 4:15 pm – again with the
possibility of it taking to 4:25, but unlikely.
Approx. 1.5hrs. on both days.
Payment:
$150.00
Location: Nepean Sportsplex
We would put a short bio on the MC in the show program. The MC
is required about half an hour before the show to run through
how it will work and they can meet the kids and say 'hi'.
The MC
introduces the kids (I have written bios for each of them), do
the usual ‘weren’t they great’ when they come off the stage and
then get them all back on stage when everyone has sung and the
judges declare the winner for the day. The MC would also
introduce the judges and make mention of what the winner gets,
sponsors, etc.
All we need is
someone who is energetic, can encourage the kids, and feels
comfortable in front of an audience of about 100 proud parents.

Capital Parent and Kids Show is
hiring a 3 x Spidermen!
We
require two, or even better three outgoing individuals. We have
a Spider Man costume and we need a person to wander the show
floor greeting kids, posing for pictures etc. The reason we
wanted three was Spider Man would go out with a handler each
time and either two of them, or all three of them could rotate
who wears the costume. Again it would be for both days. From
about 10am to 4:30pm on Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.

guys -
$100 each day (so $200 each for the weekend) – 10-4pm Sat.
11-4pm Sun (they can rotate around and we’ll give them a coupon
for lunch) 19 or 20 year olds would be ideal, sort of Spider man
age…they will basically wander the event saying hi to kids and
having their picture taken…
