Story synopsis: Written and Directed by Alex Massad, Auto-Pilot
Off is a short romantic film with a sci-fi twist that is being
produced guerilla-style on High Definition video.
Roles wanted to fill:
Darren - Lead, male, 20-25, University Student. Darren is the
principal character of the film. Torn between two women, Flora
(his beautiful French Canadian, ex-girlfriend who resurfaces)
and Lacey (his attractive new love interest who may be cheating
on him), Darren has to decide which path to take, leading to a
time shift within his mind that switches his future under his
control.
Kurt - Male, 20-25, University Student. Kurt is a principal
character. Living in the shadow of his best friend, Kurt couch
surfs, parties and provides the friendship and support that,
upon reflection, helps transform Darren.
Nathan - Male, 20-25, University Student. Nathan is a supporting
role. Nathan becomes interested in Darren's girlfriend Lacey.
